| School Program The School Program is designed to introduce curling to Elementary school children, preferably grades 5 & 6. The children are taught the basics in the classroom, then they practice curling drills in the gymnasium. On another day, they participate in skill development and a game at the curling rink. We are fortunate that OVCA clubs have been willing to provide ice for these activities. OVCA provides the program, instructors, and transportation to the rink (if necessary).
