Ottawa Valley Curling Association

Curling Clubs are open to all, and offer instruction to new curlers to learn the game and to more experienced curlers to improve skills and strategy.

Rookie Leagues
Leagues for brand new curlers are held at the following clubs:

Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm
Ottawa Hunt Club Learn to Curl League Wednesdays at 8:00 pm will feature weekly instruction by qualified instructors and membership privileges including free parking, clubhouse privileges for 12 months, great locker rooms and full service dining room and lounges. RCN (Navy) Curling club on Sundays at 1:00 pm

Ottawa Curling Club on Tuesday evenings or Sundays

City View Curling Club on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons

Granite Curling Club on Sundays and Monday mornings.

Novice Clinics
Provide new curlers, or those who want to improve their skills, with the basic skills of how to curl. Sessions include game orientation, slide delivery, grips, turns, line of delivery and brushing. Contact any curling club to find out when their novice clinics are held.

Intermediate Clinics
Provide the intermediate curler with analysis of delivery and skill improvement, ice reading, brushing calls and strategy. For information on Novice and Intermediate Clinics, contact Liz Armstrong at 613-521-0730
