WHAT DOES THE OVCA OFFER YOUR CLUB??
Currently (2010-2011) the cost of joining the OVCA is $125/sheet.

FINANCIAL HELP
Clubs may apply for loans up to $30,000 at a rate of Royal Bank prime minus 1%. Doug Sears is the manager of this fund.

QUALITY COMPETITIONS

• OVCA FALL CLASSIC a competitive bonspiel for elite women curlers held at the North Grenville CC in Kemptville in November-24 teams entered in 2010
• OVCA JUNIOR SUPERSPIEL a competitive bonspiel for 16 men & 16 women’s teams held in November at area clubs giving OVCA curlers a chance to compete against the best junior curlers in the world $2,500 prize money
• OVCA MIXED BONSPIEL a great mixed spiel for club curlers only $130 entry-great chance to curl at many Ottawa clubs-48 teams in the open-32 senior-8 recreational
• CITY OF OTTAWA MEN’S BONSPIEL play takes place at numerous Ottawa area clubs with 148 teams in the open, 48 senior & 32 senator-entry fee only $210
• OVCA LITTLE ROCK CHAMPIONSHIP held in March each year with playdowns in every zone to qualify

OVCA GOLF TOURNAMENT held in May or June every year and open to any OVCA member

FREE WEBSITE HOSTING many OVCA clubs have taken advantage of this service which is a great way to connect with your members and provide information to potential curlers

JUNIOR PROGRAM coaching courses arranged through the OCA to help clubs run their Junior programs. Junior Symposium held annually in September. Also coaching equipment that can be loaned to clubs.
