New this year, the Caledonia Cup is a regional event for recreational curlers. See the Caledonia Cup Website.
Similar concept to the Ryder Cup in golf or the Continental Cup in Curling.
Qualifying teams will play for Ontario against Quebec teams in Montreal on April 14, 2012.
Each team member must belong to the same club, and the club must be a member of the OVCA.
Each OVCA club qualifies one team per category for the OVCA qualifying tournament.
Teams may have a maximum of one "competitive" player (has played in Provincial OCA Men, Women, Juniors or Seniors, or Grand Slam, within the last four years).
One entry per club in each of the five events. See a regional draw for 16 teams here.
The A, B, and C winners represent Ontario at the Caledonia Cup to be played at the Town of Mount Royal Curling Club in Montreal on Saturday April 14, 2012.
