On behalf of our entire BrokerLink-OVCA Junior SuperSpiel committee and partners in curling in the OVCA, we congratulate Teams Plett and Jermann for winning the 2023 Championships. Strong play by all teams meant that all had a challenging 3 days of curling. We wish all of our teams success as they continue to build toward their respective championships, whether they are Provincial, National or World B and A Championships.

We will be welcoming teams back to Ottawa in 2024 at the 31st Annual BrokerLink-OVCA Junior SuperSpiel on Nov 1 to 3, 2024 with the Finals at the Granite CC at their new location that we enjoyed this year at the banquet.

We also hope to bring back our Pro-Am on Oct 31, 2024 after 5 years off due to Covid!

Please check out the final results and linescoring on ojcs.ca as well as the final draw with all games recorded on the 2023 draw on our site.

With much appreciation,

UPDATE SAT AM: We're in our second day. The banquet last night was a hit. Our online scoring is not fully correct and we're working on it. Also for all the fans of teams, we have superb support from our partner clubs.

Please see the list of our clubs this year for locations and abreviations that are on our posted draw on our draw page on this site. We look forward to having all the fans that are cheering on their teams make it to the correct club. Please use the list below with the draw on our site to ensure that you're at the right place at the right time!

We also have all of our ice confirmed and so I can confirm that the clubs that we have this year include (with the first letters the indication on the draw schedule posted):

CH - Carleton Heights Curling Club (1436 Normandy Crescent, near Prince of Wales and Fisher Ave.)

RCN - RCN Navy Curling Club (41 Navy Private, near Preston and Carling/the Driveway - at Dows Lake)

RCMP - RCMP Curling Club (115 St. Laurent Blvd. at the north end of St. Laurent, right beside the RCMP Musical Ride Stables)

OCC - Ottawa Curling Club (440 O'Connor St. just north of the Queensway)

Hunt - Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club (1 Hunt Club Road, just east of Hunt Club Rd and Riverside Dr.)

Rich - Richmond Curling Club (6117 Perth St., Richmond, ON, southwest of Kanata on the far west side of the City of Ottawa)

RCC - Rideau Curling Club (715 Cooper St. near Somerset and Bronson)

GR - Granite Curling Club of West Ottawa (2740 Queensview Dr., near Pinecrest and the Queensway)

So we're finally here at the 30th Annual BrokerLink-OVCA Junior SuperSpiel. Our field is full on both the mens and womens sides with elite teams. Our draw is slightly modified this year with our banquet returning but on Friday instead of Saturday. So after your second game, we invite everyone, teams and coaches, to the new Granite Curling Club at 2740 Queensview Dr., near the corner of Pinecrest and the Queensway. Be aware if coming from downtown (traveling west) the exit off the Queensway at Pinecrest is closed and so you'll need to exit before at Woodroofe or after at Bayshore. We hope to see everyone there!

All the best to all teams in the first games tomorrow, starting for everyone at 9am at Carleton Heights, Ottawa, RCMP, and RCN Navy Curling Clubs.

We are pleased to confirm the return to the full event of the BrokerLink-OVCA Junior SuperSpiel this year.  Our 2023 SuperSpiel will be held on Nov 3 to 5, 2023 at our long standing curling club partners in the Ottawa area. Last year, we were able to start up again after a 2-year COVID break that we had to put in place. We were so pleased with the positive response we had and the assistance with all of our partners including most notably Stu Sells for ensuring that we had a field of 16 men's teams and 14 women's team in 2022.

This year we are returning to our full curling operation including our banquet.  Through the generous support of the BrokerLink Insurance and the OVCA (Ottawa Valley Curling Association), and local businesses, we are pleased to announce that this years’ total purse is approximately $31,000. The field is filling up well and we’re confident that this year’s event will be a high point in the junior curling season.  If your team would like to be part of our high quality event,  please contact us and provide us an understanding of your team's accomplishments.

We know that the 2023 BrokerLink – OVCA Junior SuperSpiel will be another outstanding junior curling event in this our 30th annual SuperSpiel and look forward to hearing from you all.
